Thriving versus Surviving

gerund or present participle: thriving
  1. (of a child, animal, or plant) grow or develop well or vigorously.

I wonder, am I able to say that as a Follower of Christ, my life exhibits healthy growth, vigorus and well? Do I thrive in all that I do?

There’s a song I’m learning by Casting Crowns, Thrive.  The lyrics of the chorus alone have moved me to great thought on this subject.  They read:
Just to know You and
To make You known
We lift Your name on High
Shine like the sun make darkness run and hide
We know we were made for so much more
Than ordinary lives
It’s time for us to more than just survive
We were made to thrive
Churches everywhere will open there doors tomorrow morning.  For worship, study, growth and fellowship with like minded believers.  Some give so much time to prepare and serve and do.  So many find their place to give until it is the agape love, that costs greatly.
What would that look like in my life, thriving?  Would everyone around me be touched in some way by His light shining through me?  Would my family see Him?  Would I be healthier, work harder, use my finances and time wiser?
I am seeking to be more in the days ahead.  I am seeking to Thrive.
